Het centrale plein met de grote fontein in het midden omringd door palmbomen geven een tropische koloniale sfeer. De gebouwen eromheen zijn voornamelijk felgeel gekleurd wat een leuk effect heeft. Ook het stadhuis, het regeringspaleis en de kathedraal zijn hier gevestigd. Plaza Mayor is het hart van de stad in het historische centrum van Lima. Bezienswaardigheden op en rondom dit plein heb je hier genoeg. Dit historisch hart staat niet voor niets op de werelderfgoedlijst van <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/500\">UNESCO<\/a>.\u00a0 Er zijn ook veel leuke hotels en hostels in de buurt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miraflores<\/strong><br \/>\nEen moderne en hippe buurt met aan \u00e9\u00e9n kant een indrukwekkend mooie klif. Je kunt hier urenlang genieten van de paragliders die langs en over de klif zweven. Er zijn ook veel surfers te spotten in Miraflores. Het <em>Park of Love<\/em>, ook gelegen in Miraflores, is ge\u00efnspireerd op de moza\u00efekkunst van Gaudi in Parc Guell in Barcelona. Je kunt hier een romantische wandeling maken en genieten van een mooie zonsop- en ondergang. <em>El Beso<\/em>, oftewel De Kus, is de kers op de taart in dit liefdespark. Een groots sculptuur die een innige kus weergeeft van 2 mensen. <strong>Tip:<\/strong> <em>Fiets mee met de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bajabikes.eu\/nl\/lima-fietstour-de-highlights\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=lima&amp;utm_campaign=juul\">Lima fietstour de Highlights<\/a> en ontek het mooiste van de stad met een local als gids! De leukste manier om een stad op een relaxte manier te ontdekken. Ontdek onder andere Miraflores en vergeet vooral niet om de gids om tips te vragen.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Barranco<\/strong><br \/>\nEen super gezellige en kleurrijke wijk. Niet alleen de huizen hebben een mooi kleurtje, maar er zijn tevens veel vrolijke muurschilderingen en tropische planten te vinden. Er rijden ook veel oude Amerikaanse auto\u2019s. Barranco heeft daarom een beetje de vibe van het Cubaanse Havana. In het <em>park Reserva<\/em> heb je een prachtige fontein- en lasershow die gepaard gaat met vrolijke inheemse muziek. Je hebt hier eveneens super veel leuke restaurantjes. <strong>Tip:<\/strong> <em>Neem de tijd om hier te genieten van heerlijke gerechten. In Peru heb je namelijk toprestaurants. Niet voor niets is dit land in 2014 uitgeroepen tot meest culinaire bestemming wereldwijd door de World Travel Awards.
