On this tour, you will explore the most beautiful parks of the city. You start at the Lake Harriet Bandshell, where you will hear about this iconic music site and why a bandshell was built here more than 130 years ago. Then we’ll depart for the Minneapolis Rose Garden, famous for its beautiful flowers and serene atmosphere. Enjoy the surroundings while learning interesting stories and local history.
Next we will make a stop at Mr. Little Guy’s Tree Habitation, a magical attraction that children visit every summer. Bde Maka Ska, the largest of the lakes, is a place full of history dating back to the original Dakota village. From hidden gems to view points with breathtaking views, you certainly won’t want to miss anything.
The route also takes you past the impressive villas around the Lake of the Isles and the iconic Mary Tyler Moore House. The Pencil House is a recent must-see for all school children and parents. Your tour ends at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and Walker Art Center, where art and nature come together in an impressive setting of over 60 outdoor sculptures.
