Important information to know when visiting Bali

- Visa: If you plan to travel to Bali for less than 30 days, you only need a passport. If you want to stay longer, you can apply for a visa online in advance. This must be arranged before departure.
- Vaccinations: Various vaccinations are advised for your city trip to Bali, regardless of the length of stay: DTP vaccination, Hepatitis A vaccination, and MMR vaccination. If you travel to Bali for more than 3 months, additional vaccinations are recommended by the GGD.
- Money: The currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). There are many places in Bali where you can withdraw money, but a fee is charged for withdrawal. This fee varies per bank. Therefore, do not withdraw small amounts. Tip: Take a credit card with you when you travel to Bali, as you can pay in restaurants and shops with it, but not with a debit card.
