Tip: Come in the early evening – that’s when the mountains turn orange and the atmosphere is truly magical.
3. Visit Castillo Sohail – with a view!
This 10th-century castle sits on a hill by the sea and is free to visit. Not only for history lovers, but also for anyone who wants to enjoy a panoramic view over Fuengirola and the coast. Wondering if it’s child-friendly? Absolutely – you can easily walk up with a stroller or buggy!
4. Go shopping & tapas hopping on Calle España
Anyone who says you can only shop well in Málaga hasn’t been to Calle España yet. Boutiques, local products and charming tapas bars make this street a must. Tip: Also pop into a panadería (bakery) for fresh empanadas. Yummy! Success guaranteed.
