This bastion of Catalan culture and traditionally the first line of defense after the Pyrenees is called the Florence of Spain. You can see this immediately thanks to the bridges, rivers and colorful houses hanging over the water. The city breathes history, has one of the best-preserved medieval Jewish quarters and a cathedral with the largest Gothic nave in the world. Moreover, Gerona is a sought-after destination (in Spanish) among cyclists, as the area is an ideal training ground for cycling enthusiasts. Not for nothing did Lance Armstrong live there for several years.

This friendly place has many faces: beautiful shopping streets, old streets with cozy retro stores, the typical arches with terraces underneath, the Jewish quarter, the old university building and much more. Of course we will make a stop at the city wall, where the guide will wait by the bikes. You will have the opportunity to quietly go up the city wall yourself and enjoy the beautiful view of the city, the surrounding valley and the Pyrenees in the background. In spring, you can sometimes even see the snow on the mountain peaks!

This guided bike tour takes place in groups of up to 8 participants. Some cycling skill and physical fitness is required, as the city center is slightly hilly. Of course the guide will adjust the pace to the level of the group, and where necessary we will walk a bit. Booking can be done safely and quickly via the booking menu to the right.
