I was in Berlin for a few days with my 13-year-old son. The very next day, after arriving in the morning, we immediately booked a tour and also rented bikes for our stay, both from the same company, Doggybag (via Baja Tour). It was a really cool, educational, and impressive tour. But that was certainly also due to the very extensive, clear, and detailed explanations from our tour guide, Niels. It was truly top-notch how he took us through Berlin! I highly recommend doing this tour. Renting bikes to cycle through the city yourself is also highly recommended, by the way!! A really great city for cycling!!

We only rented a bike and cycled through Berlin ourselves. The pick-up location was a bit tricky to find, but it is a very pleasant place with plenty to do, close to a park. Picking up and returning the bike went very smoothly. The bike was fine.
