Interesting and also funny with our guide ***! Thanks for hosting us!
A good guide who took his time telling us a lot about Uruguay and Montevideo in particular. The bikes are okay, but electric bikes are more comfortable in some sections due to hills and strong headwinds.
This was our first time in Montevideo on a cruise, and this tour is definitely recommended if you're visiting Montevideo on a cruise! The meeting point is less than a 10-minute walk from the cruise terminal. Valentina spoke fluent English, and we saw the nicest spots and ate delicious local delicacies. We also received a lot of information! Highly recommended for exploring Montevideo in a short time! The contact with Lara beforehand was also very pleasant! TIP: If you really want to surprise them, bring a typical Dutch treat for them, such as licorice or stroopwafels ;)
***is an expert and has immersed herself in the history of Montevideo. She provides clear explanations and takes the time to answer questions. Good (new) bicycles are available. The nice thing about the lunch is that it uses local products and tea. The bike tour is highly recommended.
*** was excellent Very interesting tour
We took a very nice bike tour in Dutch with *** and four others. *** knew a lot about Montevideo and Uruguay, and the lunch in the park was delicious. We went to hidden gems that we wouldn't have found ourselves, and cycling through the city and along Las Ramblas is also wonderfully refreshing. Recommended, definitely do it!
