Sarajevo Bike Tour: discover the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina

If you enjoy cycling and want to explore the city in a different way, this tour is perfect for you. The tour starts at the lively Baščaršija, the city’s old bazaar. Here you will meet your guide and pick up your bikes. You will start in the Old Town, where you will see a number of famous historical buildings and learn more about their significance.

During the ride, you will discover the different neighbourhoods of Sarajevo, from Ottoman architecture to Austro-Hungarian-style buildings and the socialist architecture of Yugoslavia. These three styles are clearly visible and give the city its unique character.

After a pleasant ride, we reach Vrelo Bosne, the source of the Bosna River, where you can relax. The beautiful park with its ponds and waterfalls at the foot of Mount Igman is an oasis of tranquillity. This is the perfect place to enjoy nature.

After the break, we cycle to the Tunnel of Hope, where you can see the remains of the tunnel. You will also have time to visit the museum, which highlights the role of the tunnel during the siege of Sarajevo. Then we cycle back to the starting point where the tour ends.
