The adventure starts at our shop where our local colleagues welcome you. It is also possible to be picked up at your hotel. After a brief introduction, you will set off with the guide, a true local who knows all about the history and culture. After a quick ride through the alleys of Siem Reap, you’ll arrive at the first stop: the Centre for Khmer Ceramics & Fine Arts. Here you’ll learn how a pottery wheel works and Cambodian ceramics are made using Khmer tools.

You continue your way and visit the Wat Thmey Killing Field Memorial. This memorial was raised to commemorate the atrocities committed in Cambodia between 1975 and 1979. After a short stop for coffee or coconut, you’ll visit Theam’s Gallery, a hidden gem in Siem Reap. You will have some time to explore this elegant museum with Cambodian artworks. Be sure to enjoy the beautiful garden!

Before returning, we will also cycle to the Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm shrines, the Royal Independence Gardens and visit Phsar Chas, the oldest Khmer market in Siem Reap, where you can experience the local way of life.

Its a nice way to discover Siem Reap with a professionak guide. The staff was very good, the communication in the days before the tour was perfect. The pick up at the hotel is nice. In the Tour is an stop at the killing field. Maybe you can ask before the stop if the participants will go to or went to S21, so you can prevent people get twice the same story.

De gids was erg leuk en vrolijk aanwezig. De tour zelf duurde 3 uur terwijl er 4.5 uur op de site stond. Hadden gehoopt iets meer verborgen mooie plekjes te zien van het landschap zelf. Maar ophaalservice en terug brengen bij lodge was perfect geregeld. Dus ja een kleine 4 sterren
