Payment
Renting a bike is very easy!
  • The deposit is €50 per bike and an ID or passport
  • Excess in case of theft or damage: mountain bike €350, trekking bike €550, e-bike €1350.

  • Payment is in advance
  • You will receive a separate email for this after booking
  • Free change or cancellation up to 24h in advance

We've spent the last three days exploring Malta by bike. Although you do have to walk through the narrow streets, cycling is an ideal way to explore Malta. We rented bikes through Baja Bikes, which were delivered to and picked up from our hotel. The bikes aren't new, but they are well-maintained and perfectly suited to the Maltese roads. Traffic in the city is heavy, but if you go with the flow, cycling is excellent! Drivers sometimes even wait for you when they see you trying to cross the street. We had three wonderful days! Highly recommended!

We ordered three eBike touring bikes. Two turned out to be available, and they asked if we'd be happy to take one mountain bike. Upon delivery, it turned out to be more expensive. We also noticed that we weren't offered any routes. The bikes were of good quality, and we enjoyed the cycling route compiled in komoot.
