During this fun excursion, you will not only get to know the touristy lake, but also the hidden, not so crowded surrounding – cute little villages, the Sava river, vast meadows and forests and nearby hills. The Bled E-bike tour takes up to 4 hours and starts at our local meeting point. After a quick briefing of the tour and the bikes, a friendly local guide will take you on a nice day excursion. The route starts off at Pristava and takes us along the Sava Bohinjka River.” For this part of the tour you can either cycle on a paved road or, if you’re an experienced cyclist, you can choose the forest path. Afterwards, you continue to the villages of Ribno and Koritno before you reach the beautiful Bled castle. Did you know that one of the most famous thing about the island is its bell, which is also called the wish bell? According to the legend, you can ring it while making a wish, which then supposedly comes true.
You then continue to the village of Zasip and continue on a nice forest path up the hill to the Church of Saint Catherine (don’t worry, thanks to your e-bike, you will cycle over the hill with ease). After a short break, you go downhill back to Zasip and continue to the long the Bled Lake all the way to the Regatta, where a big boat race is held every year.
Next up is a stop at Velika Zaka, where you will get to try the most famous local dessert – Bled Cream cake.
After this delicious break you will take your e-bike and ride back to the Pristava, where the tour ends.
