We hebben een heel leuke tour gehad in Glasgow. Deze hadden we de avond ervoor (pas) geboekt. Onze gids, Martin, was heel flexibel en vertelde heel veel over de stad. Hij liet ons echt plekken zien waar we zonder gids nooit waren gekomen. Echt genoten!

Vorige week hebben we een leuke fietstour gehad in Glasgow. We bleken de enige twee deelnemers te zijn waardoor er veel ruimte was voor vragen etc. Ook hebben we hierdoor de oostkant van de stad kunnen zien, omdat we met zo’n kleine groep de route sneller aflegden. Connor paste zich goed aan aan onze wensen en vertelde enthousiast. De fietstour bracht ons langs vele highlights van de stad wat erg handig was aangezien we er maar een dag waren. Onze favorieten waren het Riverside museum (met een korte stop om even binnen te kijken), de University van Glasgow en het Kelvingrove park. Goed om te weten is dat er in de binnenstad/het centrum weinig fietspaden zijn waardoor de tour daar niet echt langs gaat. Momenteel worden in de stad meer fietspaden aangelegd. Ook waren er een aantal behoorlijke heuvels waardoor sommige stukken even pittig waren op een gewone fiets.
