We've done many tours with Baya Bikes, in Madrid, Rome, Valencia, Rotterdam, and Maastricht. They're always fantastic. This time, the Gouda tour was a bit disappointing because the guide only stopped at four or five points to explain things. The rest of the tour was just a brisk cycle ride along a long route over the Reeuwijkse Plassen lakes. We could have planned it ourselves using the cycling junctions. It's a shame we only stopped there once for a photo. We cycled past a birdwatching point, but the guide simply passed it by. If we'd known that, we would have preferred to rent bikes and plan our own route. Apparently, this area doesn't have as much to offer as the others, which is a shame, so it was disappointing. Still, we had a very enjoyable afternoon. The guide was also excellent; his stories were interesting.
