54 rate this tour with 4.9 starsSuper fun bike tour with a relaxed and good guide.
A lovely tour through Groningen in glorious autumn weather. Bert-Jan, the guide, was born and raised there. Perfect!
Our guide *** was fantastic. We saw, heard, and laughed so much!
Guide *** was fantastic. Wonderful stories and history of Groningen. Highly recommended for the four of us.
*** was our guide through Groningen, he showed us a lot and knew everything.
A fantastic bike tour through Groningen. Varied and enjoyable, hearing both the historical background and the city's recent developments. A highlight was the station's renovation, with its beautiful ceilings and tile tableaus.
We were a group of 28 people, divided among three guides. Plenty of sun and fun! It was great to explore Groningen this way, and the guides were very informative. Each group had a different experience! The tour was arranged for a party, and everything was a great success!
The tour showed us Groningen as we'd never experienced it on foot. We explored the city center area with our guide, ***. A born-and-bred city dweller, *** passionately recounted Groningen's history and development, life then and now. He added vivid illustrations to his stories. As co-founder of Fietsstad Groningen (Cycling City Groningen), he was also deeply committed to cycling and exploring the city by bike. You'd be forgiven for visiting the city and then asking about a tour with *** as your guide.
The chosen language was English, but the guide was not a fluent English speaker. That made it a less than optimal experience.
