Heidelberg bike tour: enjoy the unique atmosphere!

You will meet your guide in the new Südstadt district. After a brief introduction, you will hop on your bicycle and set off on your adventure. You will cycle to the Bahnstadt urban development project, one of the largest projects in Germany. To get there, you will cross the river via one of the four bridges. You will cycle past the university campus, one of the most important landmarks in the city. You will continue on to Neckarwiese Park, a green oasis close to the city.

From the Old Bridge, you can enjoy spectacular views of the castle. The path across the bridge leads you straight to the heart of the old town. Here you will discover the Holy Spirit Church, more parts of the university and the car-free main street with its world-famous atmosphere. You leave the old town and cycle towards the 19th-century Gründerzeit district of Weststadt, past the old and new districts of Südstadt, ending your tour back at the meeting point.
