Heidelberg bike tour: enjoy the unique atmosphere!

You meet the guide in the new Südstadt district, after a short introduction you jump on your bike and go on an adventure. You bike to the Bahnstadt urban development project, one of the largest projects in Germany. To do this, you will cross the river via one of four bridges. You cycle past the university campus, one of the most important points in the city. You continue your way to the Neckarwiese park, a green oasis near the city.

From the Old Bridge you will enjoy a spectacular view of the castle. The path across the bridge leads you directly to the heart of the Old Town. Here you will discover the Holy Spirit Church, more parts of the university and the car-free main street with its world-famous aura, among other things. You will leave the Old Town and cycle towards the 19th century Gründerzeit district of Weststadt, past the old and new neighborhoods of Südstadt and end your tour again at the meeting point.
