Het was een leuke tocht door een prachtige omgeving. Heenweg was 20km op elektrische fietsen met 1 stand Turbo en 1 lage versnelling dus flink trappen. Terugweg -na de grote tempel- was een uur door het drukke verkeer. Wij kunnen goed fietsen maar met kinderen zou ik dit zeker niet doen!! De gids Tony was een goede gids die erg goed Engels sprak!

We had a nice tour through authentic Lombok, with stops at two local handicraft stores. The E- bikes were in very good condition. The tour lasted much longer than expected, 4,5 hours instead of 3. We had no real break but water was supplied. Unfortunately our guides did not really speak English, so there was little background information that would have added value. The second guide on a scooter made sure we were also safe from behind, that was very good.

We enjoyed the bike tour led by *** and his intern. The bikes were in good condition. We cycled past rice paddies, through kampungs, visited a prawn cracker shop, a thatched roofing business, and markets, where we tasted salak and rambutan (fruit). Finally, we visited a temple with a local guide. So, a bit of everything. You do need to be able to cycle (well), as the road surface can be rough at times, loose gravel, and hilly.

Erg mooie trip door het echte Lombok, je ziet dingen die je normaal niet ziet. Bijzondere ervaring. Gids erg aardig en kan je alles vragen. Elektrische fiets maakt het erg makkelijk. Als je in de de buurt bent zeker een aanrader!
