Amalfi Bike Tour: Italian beauty

This region is of course known for the beautiful city of Naples. But there is so much more to explore. This tour takes you on an adventure and is aimed at the slightly more experienced cyclists. You start from Sorrento and cycle to the quaint towns of Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. In Meta, it’s time for the first slightly more difficult stage of the tour: a 5km uphill road with a 4-5% gradient until Colli di San Pietro. You then go downhill until the start of Highway 163 towards Amalfi.

After this, you cycle along the winding roads of the Amalfi coast past the famous towns of Praiano and Positano until we reach Amalfi Cathedral. Along the way, there are alternating descending and ascending roads for 2-3 km, with gradients of 4-5%. You cycle about 20 km along the Amalfi coast overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Once you arrive in Amalfi, enjoy a short stop to admire this charming town. You then cycle back to Sorrento the same way.
