Our fantastic Golden Gate Tour lets you grasp the beauty of this amazing bridge as well as the city of San Francisco. The meeting point is in Aquatic Park at 2715 Hyde Street. From here, together with your guide and a group of a maximum of 15 people, you will ride along Fort Mason to Presidio Park. After that, there will be some time for a relaxed coffee break at the Warming Hut Bookstore. Meanwhile, the tour guide will tell you everything you need to know about this great city, the bridge and much more.

After the coffee break, the time has come to ride across the majestic Bridge – a nearly 3-kilometer (1.7-mi.) ride that will take your breath away! The route takes you to the Vista Point where you have a great view of the bridge once more. From the Vista Point, you will cycle to the beautiful town of Sausalito, where the guide will say goodbye to the group and officially end the tour. Now, you can decide if you wish to take the ferry back to the meeting point or cycle some more. The ferry goes via Angel Island State Park, where you also have the possibility to ride your bike. You can keep the bikes until the end of the day! The ticket ($14) for the ferry is not included.

Het was een mooi fietstochtje over de Golden Gate. Bill was een fijne tourguide, grappig en vriendelijk. Het is best prijzig, maar je krijgt een bon voor een gratis drankje op de eindbestemming (Sausalito) en je mag de fiets de rest van de dag gebruiken. Je kunt dan terug over de brug fietsen of met de ferry, maar dat duurde ons te lang (we zouden dan anderhalf uur moeten wachten), dus wij zijn terug gefietst. Let op, als je een electrische fiets neemt komt er nog 20$ pp bij, en eigenlijk is trapondersteuning geen overbodige luxe als je nog door de stad wil fietsen
