This San Francisco bike tour is simply fantastic. We start at Aquatic Park at 2715 Hyde Street, near the famous Fisherman’s Wharf. Following a well-planned route on bike paths, we’ll head through Fort Mason to Presidio National Park. Next, you’ll have the opportunity to grab a cup of coffee (at your own expense) at the Warming Hut Book Store, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Meanwhile, the guide will tell you all about San Francisco, the bridge, and much more.

A Unique Guided Tour of San Francisco

After the coffee break, it’s time to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge—a unique experience. You’ll bike along a 2.7-kilometer stretch with impressive views. We’ll arrive at Vista Point, where we’ll turn around to take in the view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco once again.

From Vista Point, we’ll head to the next stop, the village of Sausalito. Here, the guide will say goodbye to the group, and you can decide for yourself when to head back. You can take the ferry back to the starting point. The ferry also stops at Angel Island State Park, where you’ll have the chance to go biking. You’re allowed to keep the bikes until the end of the day (for bikes returned after 8:00 p.m., there’s a $5 surcharge per bike).

During the boat tour, you’ll also pass by the famous Alcatraz Prison.

The ferry ticket is not included; it costs $14.

What a great tour with fantastic tourguides!! Marcus’ and Orla took us to the best stops for pictures and had een answer for every question. They were helpfull and very friendly. They made sure that everyone made it to where they were supposed to be and no one was left behind. The tour is really beautiful and you get te see a lot. With spots for pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you’re not a biker (or dutch) use an electric bike. There are some steep parts, but it is really all worth it. We even went back to San Francisco on our own and that was very easy. Thank you so much Baya Bikes, Blazing Saddles and Marcus’ and Orla!!

Thr tour was nice. Cycling over the Golden Gate Bridge was most exciting! Our guide was full of interesting stories about San Fancisco. Our advice is to continue with this tour. However is there one thing that can be better in the information. When we were finished in Saussolito we had to walk back to the ferry and buy there a ticket to go back by ferry. We thought that we this was included in the price that we had paid in the front of the biketour. Or that there was the possibility to cycle back over the bridge to bridge back the bikes.

We loved our tour with the Irish Lady, she told us plenty about San Fransisco and its history. We loved the tour with her! In the afternoon we went our own way and got to check out a bunch of other sights in SF too. We had a lovely day!

We had a tour done by an Irish lady. She did an amazing job by showing around San Francisco and all the history. After the tour we could keep the e-bike for the rest of the day. Even than we got some good recommendations to visit. The battery of the bikes worked the full day without charging.

Great route from the fishermans wharf to Sausalito via the Golden gate bridge! For 20$ extra you'll get an e-bike. I really recommend this, because of the heights of the city tour. Another extra + is that you can book the ferry tickets already for Sausalito>fishermans wharf with price reduction. Great services!

Marces is an experienced tour guide who will share a lot of the city's history, culture, and sometimes even nature. A proud local, he shares his enthusiasm with the group. The group was actually too big, a maximum of 7 people would be a nice size.
