The tour starts at the Yuen Long MTR station (Exit E). The guide takes you along and together you cycle through picturesque villages. Some of these are as old as 1,000 years. On this bike tour, you will discover the beautiful countryside of this region. The villages of Shui Tau and Shui Mei are not to be missed. You will also see the Ancestral Hall of the Tang Clan and the famous Tree-House in Shui Mei.

You then cross the river by bike, this in a traditional rowing boat. After this, you cycle on to Nam Sang Wai, one of the most important wetlands. In winter, it is the perfect place to spot migratory birds. The guide will tell you plenty of fun facts. For instance, did you know that the villages and fish farms in the region help protect the area? Of course, there is also time to take fun photos.

You continue on your way to a unique experience. Cycling across the bridge between fish ponds is truly unforgettable. Pedal your way to the border between Hong Kong and mainland China.
