Your adventure starts in the quiet and lively ‘Oltrarno’ district. Our guide will give you some instructions on the e-bike and the route and after this you will set off to explore. During the tour, you’ll enjoy some breathtaking Tuscan landscapes, places where most tourists don’t go. You will cycle past the ancient town of Pian dei Giullari, where Galileo lived!

Along the way, stop at a local farm* with beautiful gardens and orchard. Here you will also taste the delicious olive oil* and learn more about the process of olive harvesting and olive oil production. After this, it’s time to continue cycling along the picturesque country roads. A real Tuscan experience in other words. The last stop is at the church of San Miniato al Monte, or aka the best viewpoint over the city. A unique experience in the Italian splendour. There is, of course, plenty of time for photos.

*Please note: On Mondays, the olive farm is closed. In this case, enjoy a high-quality artisan Florentine gelato OR a traditional Italian breakfast at an artisan pastry shop! (depending on shop opening).

The minimum age for this tour is 14 years and minimum height is 150cm.

We chose to go out side the city and it was marvelous! We were very lucky to have our own tourguide, Sacha, who could tell us some nice stories about the scenery en environment. Quality of the bikes also perfect. We were very surpised about the beautifull environment and views of the Tuscany landscape.

We really enjoyed this guided bike tour! Our guide Alex was incredibly enthusiastic and shared lots of interesting information about the area, the history of Florence, and olive oil production. He rode at a calm, steady pace and was very considerate, patiently waiting for anyone who fell behind. The e-bikes were excellent quality and made the ride very comfortable, even on hilly roads. The olive oil tasting was delicious, although it was a pity we had to sit inside while there was a beautiful terrace outside. Thank you for this lovely bike tour and wonderful morning – highly recommended!

Calin was excellent in making us feel comfortable on the e-bikes and informative without being too verbose .It was extremely hot but still thoroughly enjoyed the Tuscany countryside as the e-bikes were great and managed the hills easily. The olive oil tasting was most enjoyable. The view over Florence near the end of the tour was brilliant. Only 2 minor suggestions to make the tour even better. 1) We didn’t take any money with us to buy some olive oil as were told to leave our things back at the office. 2) A quick stop ( even just 5 minutes ) at Piazza Michelangelo for the classic tourist PC shot of Florence would have topped off the tour beautifully. Thanks for a great active family activity & a chance to get out of Florence for a short period.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van deze fietstour door de heuvels rond Florence. Door omstandigheden moesten wij onze tour tot twee keer toe verzetten en dit werd fantastisch opgepakt met grote flexibiliteit en service. De e-bikes waren prima en heel prettig op de soms pittige klimmetjes. Onze gids Giordano was zeer vriendelijk en kundig. De verhalen die hij onderweg vertelde waren heel interessant en vermakelijk. Het was heerlijk om even te ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad en te genieten van het overweldigende natuurschoon. Echt een aanrader!

Mooie tour door het landschap in de buurt van Florence. Door de E-bike heel relaxed fietsen. Regelmatig stoppen voor foto’s en uitleg over de omgeving. En als afsluiter een proeverij. Luca was een hele fijne gids. Zeker een aanrader als je even een middagje uit de drukte van de stad wil.
