The route starts in Folle(n)dam, you start the tour with a delicious cup of coffee or tea and an apple pie. After this you will cycle from Volendam towards Edam. Cycle along the kilometers of dike and right through the Doolhof in Volendam. Learn all about the history of this watery area.

The narrow alleys, classic suspension bridges and stately homes in Edam take you back in time. You continue your way to Katwoude, along the way there is time for a photo stop at the Kathammer windmill. Once you arrive in Katwoude, it is time to visit a cheese farm. Learn all about the production of this local delicacy and also taste some cheese.
