The route takes you past Waterport Gate, across the Gibraltar runway, and through the Kingsway bike tunnel. You’ll pass Eastern Beach and stop for about five minutes at Catalan Bay, also known as La Caleta. Then you’ll continue cycling to Europa Point and the lighthouse. During this stop, which lasts about ten minutes, you can look around, take pictures, and rest for a bit. There are restrooms and a café here.

Next, you’ll bike into the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, where you’ll spend about an hour and a half. You’ll stop at the Pillars of Hercules monument and Queen’s Balcony before visiting St. Michael’s Cave. About 15 minutes are scheduled for this impressive cave.

The tour continues to O’Hara’s Battery, at the top of the Rock at an elevation of 424 meters. Here, you can enjoy spectacular views. You’ll also stop at the Skywalk and Ape’s Den, where you can see the Barbary macaques—the only monkeys in Europe that roam freely.

At Princess Caroline’s Battery, you’ll have a view of the airport. After that, you’ll pass the Moorish castle and bike through Upper Town, along Main Street. You’ll walk with your bike in hand across Casemates Square and end up in Ocean Village. Among the cafés, bars, and restaurants, you’ll find plenty of options for a bite to eat or a drink after the tour.
