The starting point is Poiso, the highest pass in Madeira, at 1400 meters above sea level.

Our guide briefly assesses the skills of each rider before presenting two exciting options: either explore easy single trails in the forest or follow the roads and gravel paths to the Levada, the traditional water channels. Regardless of skill level, each participant will find a suitable challenge.Our friendly staff will also explain all you need to know about the bikes and adjust them to your size, so you can ride comfortably.

Together, we glide leisurely at about 850 meters above sea level, covering approximately 25 kilometers along the Levada. The route takes us through picturesque laurel, eucalyptus, and pine forests. In the right season, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries can be picked and tasted, while wild plums are especially delicious.

Near Camacha, we stop at a typical bar for a refreshing drink and a small snack (not included). After this break, we continue the tour, following the Levada through the colourful Camacha and tackling the last exciting 10 kilometers down to the shop on paved roads. Precise braking is required during this descent – a spectacular conclusion to an unforgettable tour on the breathtaking island of Madeira.

Due to the unique location and elevation changes on the island, you will combine different types of mountain bike routes. In a few hours you will cycle through fields, forests, over unpaved roads, over trails and through the rainforest, to end up in small villages. This is a unique experience, and an absolute must for mountain bike fans. During the entire tour, you will enjoy wonderful views of the sea. Of course, there will be enough time to take pictures and you can ask your guide questions at any time!
