⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastische e-bike tour met Baja Bikes en gids Soufy! We hebben echt een topdag gehad met Baja Bikes in Genua. Onze Engelssprekende gids Soufy (weet niet of ik het goed spel) was geweldig: enthousiast, duidelijk, geduldig en met een enorme kennis van de stad. Dankzij de e-bikes was de route heel goed te doen, ook met de heuvels; je zoeft overal zonder moeite naartoe. Tijdens de tour hebben we ontzettend veel gezien. Soufy nam ons mee door de sfeervolle steegjes van het oude centrum, langs prachtige historische gebouwen en indrukwekkende pleinen. We stopten onder andere bij: Palazzo Ducale, met zijn mooie bogen en statige binnenplaats. Het spectaculaire beschilderde gebouw op het Piazza San Matteo en later ook het rijk gedecoreerde Piazza Bianchi, waar het leek alsof je in een openluchtmuseum fietste. Het gezellige bloemenkraampje vlak voor de prachtige kerkfaçades van de oude binnenstad, echt zo’n typisch Italiaans momentje. Het indrukwekkende Piazza De Ferrari met de grote fontein en het iconische Palazzo della Borsa. De barokke en rijk versierde palazzi in de beroemde straten van de Via Garibaldi. De imposante Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, met zijn zwart-witte gestreepte gevel die je gewoon een paar minuten moet staan aanstaren. We kregen ook tijd om bij verschillende kerken naar binnen te gaan. En natuurlijk begonnen we met met een prachtig uitzicht op de haven, waar de cruiseschepen en kleurrijke sleepboten het plaatje compleet maakten. Soufy zorgde telkens voor leuke weetjes, handige stops en genoeg tijd om foto’s te maken. Het voelde totaal niet gehaast, meer alsof een local je zijn favoriete plekken liet zien. Kortom: een ideale manier om Genua te ontdekken. Mocht je twijfelen: doen! En als je de kans krijgt, vraag zeker naar Soufy als gids, ze weet ontzettend veel en is fijn gezelschap onderweg.
