Of course, there will also be enough time for pictures and you can ask your guide questions at any time. A guided excursion on a bike lets you be active while discovering the city at the same time. During this tour, we try to put families with children in the same group. This allows the guide to adapt his story to families. The tour is the same as the Rome Highlights Bike Tour and can be combined with groups that have booked it.

We had a great guide, Pieter! That really made the ride! Thanks again! We had booked electric bikes and were looking forward to them, especially for kids aged 11 and 13. But it started off with a letdown. Apparently, there is a law in Italy that you have to be 14; you could have easily indicated that when booking. Shame on you, BajaBikes! This ride is perfectly doable without electric assistance, by the way ;-). Otherwise, top-notch!

The beginning was a bit chaotic. Bikes had to be sent back because they weren't functioning properly. It might be a good idea to have the bikes thoroughly checked by the staff first, because Rome really is a busy city. But otherwise, the tour was great fun and perfectly manageable with children. I would definitely recommend it!

It is becoming a tradition to start every city trip with a bike tour with a Dutch-speaking guide via Baja Bikes. Seeing a lot in a new city in a short time, with explanations in your own language. Lighthearted and interesting. Our next city trip will start with the same concept again.
