117 rate this tour with 4.7 starsGreat guide, nice tour
Educational tour, well organized.
The tour guide was clear, friendly, and knowledgeable, which she shared with everyone, both young and old, in a pleasant way. She was clear about the content, the route she was taking, and how we could follow her. It was a very enjoyable and interesting tour!
A pleasant and informative tour. The Forum site is overwhelming, but the guide's explanations made it manageable. He also pointed out certain details you might have missed without noticing. Skipping the long lines was a welcome bonus.
We found the tour very interesting. It's a shame you still have to wait to get in, but in the end, it wasn't too bad. Our guide (***, I think) was very informative, with a pleasant tone and a touch of humor. We found the Roman Forum even more interesting than the Colosseum.
Great guide, clear explanations. Not too large a group.
Well-organized tour with nice surprises in both the Forum and the Coliseum
A very nice guide (***), who was very informative and engaging. Palatine Hill was very impressive, partly because of the fascinating stories. The Colosseum was our main destination, but we stayed there for a shorter time, and for me personally, it was less impressive than Palatine Hill. What I did find annoying was that my name was incorrectly and incompletely written on the ticket, even though I had provided it correctly (and double-checked it on the spot) for both me and my daughter. Our guide told me they were very strict about this and that it might be difficult to get in. Fortunately, that wasn't the case, but it did create an unpleasant tension (will it be difficult...?) that wouldn't have been there if the names had been correct. That was the only annoyance, but it was easily avoided by copying the correct names.
Impressive tour. Good guide.
