During the Malaga bike tour you will learn all about the culture, history and fun facts of the southern Spanish city. Together with the experienced Dutch tour guide you will cycle along the city’s most beautiful sights in a safe, fun and informative way. Because our guides live in the city, you will hear things you won’t find in the travel guides. You also get the opportunity to ask questions, so you know for example where to store after your bike tour in Malaga.
What will you see on the Malaga bike tour?
The tour with Dutch tour guide will take you past the following sights:
- The district of Perchel
- The Alameda promenade and park
- The Malagueta district with the bullfighting arena
- The beach of Malagueta and La Caleta
- The fishing village of Pedregalejo
- The port of Malaga
- And much more!
The tour begins in the bustling, artsy neighborhood of Soho, right next to the port. From there we cycle to the historic and traditional neighborhood of El Perchel. We then ride along the beautiful, tree-lined Alameda promenade toward the sunny coast of La Malagueta, before following the promenade along the beach to the charming, traditional fishing village of Pedregalejo. On the way back, we explore Málaga’s sleek, modern port and stop to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.
At each stop, the local guide tells the story that goes with the sights so you really get to know the city. Of course sights like the beach, the port and the bullfighting ring are not skipped during the Malaga bike tour.
The Malaga bike tour is the best way to start your city break
The municipality has worked hard in recent years to make the city more bikeable. We have since developed the ideal bike route which means you get to see everything and feel safe while cycling. The local guide knows the city like the back of her hand and will then show you around on foot for short stretches!
Tip: Malaga is flat and you don’t need an e-bike.

1212 rate this tour with 4.8 starsWe had an enthusiastic Dutch guide. She drove calmly through the city so that we could all keep up. We visited places you wouldn't easily go to on your own. Nice background information and a sheet with tips. Thank you.
Had a super fun tour with ***, highly recommended for exploring the city !!
Under the inspiring guidance and explanation of ***, we took a beautiful bike ride in Malaga.
An absolute must for discovering Málaga! On Monday, May 18th, two adults and I took the bike tour guided by tour guide ***. What a super fun and enthusiastic guide! In over three hours, she tells us about the city, its history, and all the special places in Málaga with passion and humor. The bike paths aren't very wide in some places, but we found the cycling to be absolutely safe and relaxing. Moreover, cycling is a really fast and fun way to explore the city. Málaga isn't huge, so this tour is perfect to do at the beginning of your stay. You immediately get a good impression of the city and discover all kinds of charming streets, hotspots, restaurants, and interesting places you'll want to return to later. Thanks to *** for the enjoyable and informative morning!
Tour guide *** gave us a lovely day with her fun stories about the city of Malaga. We cycled at a leisurely pace through the authentic streets and along the boulevard. It was well worth it.
Nice tour, certainly shows enough highlights, even though cycling in groups is no longer allowed in the city center. Our friendly guide *** made it a fun and interesting tour!
Nice bike route, and interesting traditions and facts about Malaga were shared. However, one fact was incorrect, namely how expensive it could be to stop in Malaga per day. The travel guide mentioned up to *** euros per day, but after looking it up online, we saw that the maximum was actually around *** euros per day. Of course, this didn't spoil the fun. I can definitely recommend a bike tour. It would have been nicer, though, if we had tasted a traditional dish or wine along the way, for example. And been offered something to drink during the tour.
Nice experience. Good guide(***)
