From our starting point at Fisherman’s Wharf you can follow a popular route along the water and cycle through Fort Mason to the Golden Gate Bridge where you can enjoy breathtaking views. Arriving on the other side of the bridge you can go, for example, to bayside or Mill Valley where California’s most famous redwood trees are located. You can of course return via the Golden Gate Bridge, but you can also go back by ferry! We will give you a map so you can bike a nice route. Of course we will also give you a lock and a helmet. Also for the kids we have everything, child seats, tag a longs, trailers, children’s tandem and children’s bikes.

We rented bikes from Blazing Sadels. A nice organization; we were welcomed courteously and received a good explanation. They are located close to the bike path towards the Golden Gate. The bikes worked fine. For San Francisco, bikes with pedal assistance might have been a better choice.
