This unique bike tour takes you back to the 1970s when the government made many buildings the same. After this we go back even further, to Roman times, for example we cycle along a beach where the Romans used to come to eat and sunbathe. Of course, we then cycle past the ruins of the city of Aquincum, now Óbuda.

We took the tour with ***. It was his first time on the retro tour. But he was entertaining and had a lot to tell. We actually found it special to see the other side of Budapest.

Excellent guide who took the time for us and showed us beautiful spots away from the well-known highlights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with our guide ***. As a Hungarian, he spoke excellent Dutch.

Great guide, great, interesting tour. However, the quality of the bikes leaves much to be desired.

We went on the Retro Tour. We visited a part of the city that was new to us. Our guide Sam speaks verry good Hungarian ( his mother language), English and German. He has a big Hart for the city and so much knowledge and always friendly and open minded. It was an interesting and relaxing tour. Safe and so different then the highlights. We would recommend it.

A tour outside the highlights and a bit further from the center, allowing you to get to know Budapest a little better, including a number of Roman excavations, Margaret Island, etc.

It was the best tour I've ever had! Many thanks, Samuel! He was very engaging, had diverse interests, and was incredibly knowledgeable. He was also personal, witty, and had just the right touch of irony! Of course, I was incredibly lucky to be in such a small group and was able to ask all my questions! We visited many little places off the beaten track that capture the life and poetry of the city! It was so much fun – Budapest will leave a lasting impression… I'll be back!

The tour ended up lasting 5 hours. So we saw and heard a lot. In Hungary, you can't escape a political story during the tour.
