In any case, the reservation went very smoothly. I sent an email to ask if we could arrive an hour later than the standard time, and that was arranged very quickly, thank you. We had a guide who was very informative and took our wishes into account. The bikes might need a good overhaul (brakes, tires). Thanks for the experience!

What a beautiful city Budapest is! A group of eight of us explored the city by bike on our arrival day. It was great that our starting time could be adjusted accordingly. Our Dutch guide gave an interactive tour and was clearly a very driven and passionate Budapest/Hungary enthusiast. We discussed and agreed in advance how much information we wanted to receive. We received a wealth of information about the city and its culture, with the year 1896 as a recurring theme. A good cycling pace with regular stops at the sights, and cycling in Pest, the largely flat part of Budapest, is also good. The bikes themselves were of poor quality; we had one damaged chain and one broken one. The wine stop at café/restaurant Kismező was very useful for a bike change, which the guide arranged. The bike tour was a great success for all of us and a wonderful and informative start to our stay in Budapest. Highly recommended!

We were very satisfied with the tour and our guide. It was a shame, though, that the confirmation didn't mention this was a meeting point with the guide. We found the address, but there was no confirmation that we were there. We also asked if we could drive electric vehicles. We were told no, but our fantastic guide *** told us it was! Such a shame!
