We had booked a bike tour with Baya Bikes to explore Istanbul in an active way. Unfortunately, the weather spoiled our plans – it was raining too hard to cycle safely. But instead of cancelling everything, we were offered a walking tour as an alternative. And what a wonderful surprise that turned out to be! The guide was fantastic: very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and with an impressive knowledge of Istanbul's history, culture, and hidden stories. Thanks to his guidance, we saw not only the well-known highlights but also less touristy spots with a special story. We were a small group of five people, which made the experience personal and relaxed. Despite the rain, the atmosphere was excellent, and the walk offered a perfect alternative to still see and learn a lot about the city. I can wholeheartedly recommend this experience – and certainly Baya Bikes as well. The flexibility, the organization, and above all the quality of the guide made this an unforgettable experience. Even in the rain, it was Istanbul at its best!
